The followers of my private blog are not being emailed new blog notifications

My private blog does not email my followers a notification when I publish a new post.
Please advise.

Could you please let me know the usernames or email addresses for the users who haven’t received notifications, so I can check on this for you?
If you post a properly formatted email address here, it will be hidden from public view but I will be able to see it.

louini1 and bazpragt are two examples of usernames who are following the blog. (Can you tell me if there is place in the dashboard where I can see the email address of my followers?) -
One of my blog’s email subscribers has also let me know that they have stopped receiving notifications when I publish a new post. Address is (email visible only to moderators and staff) Thank you

This can be modified on the user’s account at at http://wordpress.com/following/edit/
@terryfreemark, I see your subscriber’s email address listed as an email follower. If they no longer receive emails from your blog, they might want to try checking their spam folders. If that doesn’t work, let me know and I can remove their subscription, and they can try subscribing again.

@jackiedana, the email I receive from WordPress each time a user follows my blog states, ie. “gerri2015 just started following you at http://disneysquad15.wordpress.com. They will receive an email every time you publish a post. Congratulations.” Is that not the case by default? Does the setting you indicated need to be updated for each follower?
Also, with regard to the list of users you pointed me to, is there a way to see their email address from this location? I can only see the user name, and when I click on it, it just takes me to the Gravatar thing, which has no more info.

This is the response I received from my email subscriber who stopped receiving my blog post notifications by email. I am including this in the hopes that it may make sense to you:
We don’t have spam or junk folders. I
searched your name and blog in all the email boxes which shows ALL of your other blog posts. They just stop at 12/28.
After I commented on your last piece, there was something to click to
be added to comments. I hadn’t done that before. Got the email to
confirm, etc. Maybe that will make a difference. We’ll see. I
thought filling out the line (again) to follow your blog would do the
trick. But then you said nothing new was shown on your end.Thanks, in advance.

@terryfreemark, you might direct your subscriber to https://subscribe.wordpress.com/ to review their status, and again, if things aren’t working, they can unsubscribe there and then resubscribe on your blog and that should sort things out.
