The Full 404
-
My other site has basically gone ‘Full 404’ and I can’t access it at all. My ISP with whom I have the domain registered has found nothing wrong.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This site is not offline https://markmushetphotography.wordpress.com/
What is the exact URL starting with http:// of the site you refer to please?
I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting. And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.

Oh, I see WP automatically assumes the trouble emanates from where I’m posting. No. markmushetphotography is fine.
vancouverreviewmedia.wordpress.com is the troubled site.

LOL :D And, that is why we are all prompted to provide the relevant URL when we create a new thread.
https://vancouverreviewmedia.wordpress.com doesn’t exist

Are you sure you do not mean http://vancouverreviewmedia.com?
vancouverreviewmedia.com is hosted by Uniserve On Line
Hosting provider: Uniserve On Line
WHOIS: Click Here
IP Address: 216.113.194.96If your answer is yes, we cannot help you with that site here at wordpress.COM.
We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin.
You are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

It was a WordPress thing. I was logging into the WP dashboard, identically to the way I do with the account I’m posting from now. Only now it’s gone. There is a Uniserve hosting link, that’s true. But I was using WP to post everything. So I’m confused to say the least.

OK Uniserve took awhile but they said “a content folder” was deleted on the WP end. Odd. I hadn’t done anything. So they said they (performed some back end voodoo) restored said folder and now everything’s back up and I can log in via WP again.
Obviously I need to understand the flow and structure between WP and Uniserve better!
Thanks!
