The goodreads links will not materialize, message site might be down appears

  I am unable to insert the url from the Goodreads site of my book into my blog. Is this an issue with Goodreads or with WordPress? I want the book sirte on my blog to invite readers of my blog to review my book on Goodreads.
  I did OK with the RSS feed from another website.
  The general Goodreads as reader works OK sharing what I read, using their linking process. Johanna

  I clearly see the Goodreades widget operating on your site (4 pages). These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
  clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
  using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
  updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/

  confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
  confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654
  confirming Flash is updated http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and if required installing the latest version of Flash http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
  resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
  then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  Thanks for replying. I figured out that the URL for my own book and the option to leave a review on Goodreads is not supported for just copying that url from Goodreads to my blog, so I copied the image on Amazon instead and used a different widget,for images instead of RSS for just the image and that worked. Yes, the general Goodreads widget worked and I got the books I read in Goodreads on my blog now. Johanna
