The header image is cut off

  Hi,
  I am considering using the Expound theme for a new site/blog, but i noticed that although it’s supposed to be a responsive theme, when i look at it from a smaller screen the header image is cut off, as you can see here:

  Hi Orit,

  Looking at other forum threads on this topic it seems that this may be a problem when the mobile theme is enabled. It should be disabled.

  If that is not the issue, please post back here.

  I chaked it and it happened in both – with and without the mobile option.

  Hi again, on having a look at the theme’s Showcase page, here is what it says about Custom Header images:

  The best custom header images are decorative background images. The image will be cropped for small viewports (not scaled down) to fit the available area fixed for height and width. This means header images that work best with this theme are abstract or decorative images.

  That would explain why you are experiencing the above problem with the regular header images.

  I was in the showcase page – but just flipped through on my way down to see the example blogs (which i found again as a customized, and wrote about it to the stuff)

  A lo davar. Keep in mind that a theme’s showcase page is about the best place to start. The information there is sometimes not complete, as from time to time users discover something that hasn’t been addressed. Staff are receptive to updating the information there.

  Also, I noticed that neither of the “awesome blogs” given at the bottom are using a custom header image. That would have been a clue right there. Also, looking at motherofnine9, where you kept the header text, the text does realign/resize when resizing the browser window.
