The header is in the wrong place on 'penscratch theme' and I can't delete it

Hello,
I’ve added a header image on penscratch theme, thinking it would be behind the title. however it has gone below the ‘home’ button. When I tried to remove it by deleting it , it says there is now no header image, but it is still there? I’m not sure what to do! help would be great thanks.

Also would there be a way, using CSS if necessary, to change it so the image goes behind the title?

Please help! Tried to screen shot it but can’t do that. It was going well but this has ruined it! Its confusing as there is a header image but it said there isnt…. and so I can’t get rid of this random picture!

The average response time for getting a first response to any support request on any blogging support forum ranges from 12 – 24 hours. Please be patient while waiting knowing there are millions blogging here and only 220 or so Staff.

For the Penscratch theme while you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends a header size of 937 × 300 pixels. The site title appears above not below the header image when you enable:
Header Text
__ Show header text with your image.If you want the site title to appear on the image itself then create another header image with the text on it and upload that image.
