The Home and Contact Us page appear in the Home Page menu
-
Hi Folks, I am unable to understand how to have one page per menu item.
If I add a Contact Us second page it appears on the top of the home page.
If I add a Contact Us menu it goes nowhere. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not sure that I understand what you are asking. I am seeing home and contact us links next to each other on your navigation menu.

Hello Rootjosh Thanks for having a look. You see when you click on the home menu it has Contact Us at the top. That is a page I only want to see when I click the Contact Us menu.

I suspect that is because (in your dashboard under Settings–> Reading) you have your posts and front pages set to be the same page:

Set one page for your “front” page and one page for your posts to appear on and see if that clears up the issue.

Thanks Rootjosh. Your answer fixed the problem with my website. Well done.
You turn on a surfboard by putting your weight on the back foot and turning your shoulders.
I figure it’s the same with a snowboard?

Great to hear!
Actually, with a snowboard, it is often more of a pivot around your front foot. But it does become a lot more like surfing when you are in deep soft “powder” snow where you need to keep your nose up. You sort of sit with your weight in the back seat and “surf” a bit.
