  I d like to have this page without the starting big text from wordpress. How do I manage? I understand that it might be a part of my ‘free-driving’.

  Have a look at ‘Hero Title and Hero Content’ below ‘Homepage Template’ from this link. Over there it’s outlined how to remove/alter the text.
