  The image I want to embed is not showing up properly

  What type of image are you trying to embed? Where is the image hosted? What process are you following to embed the image? What do you mean with “not showing up properly”?

  I should have clarified.

  I am launching a new blog soon with Go Daddy as the host and I would like to embed images from sites like Getty or from Instagram. I’ve done a few test runs, but every time I try an embed an image, all I end up seeing is the code as opposed to the actual image.

  The directions I have followed simply state that I must copy the embed code and paste into my post. The image should then appear. However, I as I said earlier, all I see is the code.

  Is there a plugin I should use? Is there a plugin that I might have to delete? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  We cannot assist you with a Godaddy site. That is running WordPress.ORG software, not WordPress.COM and you need to be over at their forums for help with that.
