The images are not displayed on the blog

    We are taking our first steps in wordpress, I made the page, I chose the SELA theme, and our menu sheet (NEWS) the one of the wordpress blog. The images are the right size, as I could read, 300x300px, and when I see the page, it does not show them, it does well in the new POST that I write, if I enter the POST, I see them.
    What I realized is that in the NOVEDADES tab (which is the wordpress BLOG tab) are the texts in columns in 3, and there the image is not displayed, but if I click and enter the post YES.
    I would like it to be displayed in the column, is this possible with the theme I chose?

    I do not know if I explained well, if anyone can guide me from already very grateful.

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure I understand your question. Are you trying to set up your site using the special “homepage template” layout you see in the demo here? https://wordpress.com/theme/sela

    To explain, the Sela theme is an older one that we launched before we had a block editor, so the homepage of this theme cannot be set up using blocks. Instead there are instructions to set up the homepage template that must be followed. We have retired the Sela theme, but you can follow the instructions for the Edin theme, which has the same settings for the homepage template: https://wordpress.com/theme/edin

    If you prefer to use blocks to set up your homepage, you may want to consider “Stow” which looks just like the Sela theme we retired, but you can set the homepage up using blocks: https://wordpress.com/theme/stow
