    1;, The old Notifications drop-down was a LOT more useful, and for someone like me with poor eyesight, easier to read and work with.

    2; The Reader…gee, sure would be NICE if I could stop the auto-update so that I could read more than on word in a post headline before the latest posts slam through…making it IMPOSSIBLE to use the reader in any meaningful way.

    So, one is an Accessibility issue for the disabled, and the other is just fixing the reader so it’s useful, right now…it’s like trying to read signs on the sides of cars whizzing past you on the autobahn.

    Thanks for the feedback! I’ve logged it in for our developers.

    As for the issue with the Reader, I usually get an orange bar across the top notifying me of new posts to display, it doesn’t just automatically update. Did this change for you recently? Or has it always worked this way? Can you tell me what browser version you’re using?
