The Kelly Theme
-
Hello Again,
I made few adjustments. I do not want to have any colored borders around the blog. “Knowledge Is Power,” should be only in white, whereas, the bald eagle should take on its own with original color.
Thanks,
Rafiq

If you want to remove the background color from the header, you can add this CSS to your site:
.header-background { background: none; }If you don’t want the light brown frame around your content, you can change the background color to white or change the background of the content area to match the light brown ( rgb(217, 206, 178) ).
This guide has details on using your browser to find the CSS that can be adjusted:

Another point that came to mind is, “How can I remove the date of the post on the blog itself?” Is there a CSS code to remove it?
-
You can remove Home and About from the menu in the Appearance > menus screen.
Use this CSS to remove the date on the post.
.entry-content h4 span:nth-of-type(3) { display:none; } -
Yes, I did. But it did not remove it. Don’t forget my question, as to how to remove ‘Home’ and ‘About.’

Wonderful! The Home and About got removed. However, the post date has remained.
More importantly, how can I widen the height of the header? I want to be sure that the head of the Bald Eagle is not cut off. Let’s say a quarter of an inch will suffice.

Hello My Friend, I think I will keep the ‘Home’ & ‘About’ intact. What I must know is how to increase the height of the header? Let me know
at your earliest convenience. Thanks & Regards. Rafiq -
Hello Friends @ WordPress CSS Team,
“Another point that came to mind is, “How can I remove the date of the post on the blog itself?” Is there a CSS code to remove it? “
This question remained unanswered. Everything else is running perfect with the blog.
Note that I do not want the blog to show the date posted. The reason being that I often travel and miss the news article. Hence, keeping the date out of the post will be great.
Let me know the code at the earliest convenience.
Thanks & Regards,
Rafiq
