The "Like this" widget has an ugly scrollbar in my browser… what should I do?

  I’m starting a blog and am preparing it first. I’m wondering if I should enable the WordPress.com Like feature, but by viewing it on other WordPress blogs, there is always an ugly sidebar!

  Here are examples :

  The sidebar appears at the right of the widget and seems to scroll down the content for a distance of about 1-2 pixels.

  Could this be solved?

  I’m using FireFox 26 on Ubuntu.

  Twenty Fourteen is responsive width theme. Responsive width means the the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles the sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading. Disable the mobile theme here > Appearance > Mobile

  Wrong answer… I’m talking about the Like Widget, whatever the theme is. I have absolutely no problem with my theme.

  There is a scrollbar at the right that is simply useless and that shouldn’t be there.

  Sorry, I stupidly wrote “sidebar” instead of “scrollball” twice. My apologies for the inconvenience.

  This is not normal behavior, so it could be your browser/viewing area. Are you seeing the same issue in other browsers, or is this a Firefox-specific issue? How wide is your window when you see this?

  I’ve verified, and it is correct in Google Chrome on Windows! So it seems like a FireFox-specific issue. The issue is seen at whatever window width, but my display has a resolution of 1280 x 800.

  Looking into this further, it appears that this is how Firefox on Ubuntu renders this part of a site. This behavior is not consistent across operating systems, however, and on Windows and MacOS the Likes feature should not show up with a scroll bar in Firefox or other current browsers.
