The loop: Make something appear every N posts

  I’d like to put a banner in, say, every 3 posts in the loop. My php is pretty lousy, though. Can anybody tell me how to make a chunk of code appear every few posts?

  We cannot use script or javascript or flash, or forms or iframes here at wordpress.COM, the free hosting service, due to security concerns.

  I think you are probably in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted blogs are supported.
