the luxury theme is not showing up on my blog

I have a wordpress.com blog and I purchased the luxury premium them from the wordpress site in July 2016 and it is not showing up, I don’t know what I am doing wrong, it is active but the theme does not come up, when I click on customize, I keep getting taken to the free website set up options. I have been trying to fix this since July and I am really angry and want a refund if I can’t get my blog to look like the theme I purchased. I have gotten so fed up trying to figure this out. What is the .wordpress.com URL of the site you purchased the Luxury theme for?
Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?

I’ve activated Luxury for you.
To do this, you would want to go to My Sites > Themes > type “Luxury” in to the search field, click on and activate the theme.
You could also activate it from wordpress.com/themes/luxury/
Let me know if you need any other help with this theme.

No, not at all. lizkarkoski will take care of this refund for you when she logs in again.
re: Refunds
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received. -

I’m not able to issue a refund for this upgrade as it was purchased back on June 22nd 2016. It is well outside the 30 day refund window. Instead I have added the credits to your account that you can use towards a different theme or upgrade.
What features are you looking for in the theme? Can you share any examples of sites you’d like to replicate? I’ll be happy to help you find a theme that will fit your idea for the site.

Thanks for getting back to me. What I wanted is the way the picture in the luxury theme has the girl with a hair wreathe to be in the background as the background image so that when people scroll up or down the whole page they see the text and an read the website but that image is always in the background.
When I tried to set it up that way, I just got header image of a flower but even that doesn’t go the whole page. I added a background image I took of a gold scarf but it isn’t what I was going for, I want my website to look the way the luxury theme does with those images with the girl at the top and as it scrolls down there is a man in a tuxedo and when I try to activate the theme it never looks that way on my website so I don’t know how to make my website look like the live demo. I thought when I bought the luxury theme and applied it that it would automatically look like the luxury theme demo

Each theme needs to be customized and setup. Most of them have several different home page, content, and featured options.
When you are looking at themes it is important to focus on the function and style of the theme but not necessarily the content and images – because you are going to customize all of those details to fit your needs.
