The magic word “Private” – why does it appear?

    I wanted my site to be accessibble to everyone – except my Posts page. That’s why I set all my posts to private. But now there is the word “Private” in the title of all my posts.

    What’s the reason for that?
    Do it matter if I am the only one who can see it?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Well… the word Private appears because you’ve set the posts to private. It’s meant to distinguish private from public posts. The private posts are only visible to you when logged in. Log out and you’ll see what others see.

    Two solutions can work out in your situation.

    1. Make all posts draft. This will take each and every post off your homepage.

    2. Make your whole blog private. If you make your blog accessible, then your blog will be accessible and visible with all published articles/posts in it.

    So, the choice is yours.

    You say there’s no other option to remove that word?
