The main page gives a 404 not found error

  Main page displays this error message. I have created a post and static pages but nothing seems to remove this error.

  It seems that you have indicated that you want a static page as the front page of your blog, but not which one, specifically. Keep in mind that you’ll need to specify a “posts” page, too. Here are the steps to do that:
