The more tag is not appearing where I want it to. Instead it appears at the end of the post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The more-tag will appear at the point where your cursor was when you selected it. Click with the mouse at the point in the post you want the tag to appear, and then click the icon in the toolbar.
Also note that if you add more than one more-tag, only the first one will work.
-
This is exactly what I am doing and it still doesn’t add the more tag where I want it. I just tried it and the more tag appeared at the bottom of the post.

Are you using the Visual editor or the Text editor? What browser and version are you using?
-
Using the visual editor. The more tag was working fine and then it just started not to work.

According to the support doc issues can occur when the more-tag falls within another html tag. Go to the html editor and check for this. Example in the support doc http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/#formatting-issues
You can also try using a different browser to see if the problem occurs there as well. And whenever my blog goes haywire I clear my browser cache. See if that doesn’t perhaps do something.

Thanks will try. It is funny it worked with a posting I have in draft but not in others. Will check out the suggestions in the morning. Thanks again.
