Hey guys and girls…I really need an assist here. I am creating this page for family friendly articles that I find, memes, and of course ads to generate income, but I really have no clue on what I am doing here to get it up and running and looking good. Right now, it looks awful, I just am at a point where I am looking at it all thinking ‘what am I supposed to be doing here? How do I do it?’ If you can’t tell this is all brand new to me. Could you please look at it and advise me? I don’t even know how to get links on the side, how to post memes, how to paste in full articles (credited to their source of course!) or anything. Help is not needed, it is necessary! Thank you for ‘listening’ to my little rant and advising as best you can. I would love to actually talk to someone about it, so if you are willing I will gladly provide my phone number!

Hi! To get links on the side you want to put widgets in your sidebar. This will help you get started with those: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/

Memes are normally just images, so you would post them like any other images: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/
If you need to make memes, you can use just about any image editing program, or there are online tools for making them. You can search the web for “meme generator” or I typically use Imgur’s if I’m making something online: https://imgur.com/memegen
To run ads on your blog, you use WordAds: https://wordads.co/
It’s available with a Premium or Business plan. -
Oh, and pasting text into the visual editor should be similar to anywhere else on your computer. There’s a Paste button to help with that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text

So what you are saying is it’s actually pretty simple but I am getting overwhelmed and making it harder than it needs to be! LOL! Sounds about right.
