I am going out of my mind trying to deal with this shit. Every theme I try fucks with things for no known reason and how it looks in the editor will have no relation to the actual site. E.g. it will stretch the header image so it’s far too big to fit on the screen or if I can make it the right size, it will shade it!!!! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then it re-order the menu for no reason and basically every theme I try is a waste of space. And wordpress hope that people will pay for this service?????????????? Why are you so unbelievably shit? Was this made by children from a primitive tribe or what?

The blog listed is there because you are logged into WordPress.com using that account.
http://www.ourownfuture.org/ is not hosted here at WordPress.com, but rather by LCN Com Ltd using the WordPress.org software. https://ourowngardens.wordpress.com IS a WordPress.com site.PS: Changing themes will change the header as there is no one standard header size across all the thousands of various themes available on the Interweb. It pays to change themes and THEN re-install the header image using the dimensions recommended in each theme instructions page.

Neither of those sites are the ones in question. My original post was meant to be a direct message to the wordpress idiots who have no idea what they’re doing.
With the header image, I’ve gone through it so many times, tried versions with different dimensions and it still comes out looking the same, i.e. it doesn’t even use a different image that I have selected.
I honestly don’t think I’ve come across anything as bad as this on the net before.
Are they actually going to employ people who at least knows what a computer is? -
Then, with all due respect, it may help if you shared the address of the site you ARE having problems with (and theme). If it is indeed a WordPress.com site then there are volunteers and staff that should be able to assist.

Like I said, I didn’t want this to be a public post but no surprise, there’s no other option of contacting wp to complain. I’d discuss it privately but not like this because of the strong language I have used and very likely would use again.
