The name of my website suddenly doesn't show right anymore.

  A couple of months ago registered a domainname at yourhosting.nl. I mapped it to my wordpress blog and it all worked fine for a while.

  Now suddenly something’s wrong. My gravatar disappeared from the adressthing (what’s it called in English..? The place where you type adresses of websites). Also it does no longer say http://www.gekkiggeitje.nl, but it suddenly changed to gekkiggeitje.nl. Because of this, facebook doesn’t display my new published articles right anymore.

  I don’t know what happened. I just got myself a new virusscan. Maybe that’s got something to do with it? Or is it a wordpress- or yourhostingproblem?
  And the main question: What can I do about it??

  I made some screenshots of how it looks now. If it helps, I can send them by e-mail or something.

  I’d be happy to help answer your questions. If you want to share your screenshots, you can upload them to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service such as Snaggy.

  My gravatar disappeared from the adressthing (what’s it called in English..? The place where you type adresses of websites).

  I see that you are using your Gravatar as the Blavatar for your blog. Some web browsers (for example, Chrome) do not show your blog’s blavatar in the address bar. (That’s controlled by the browser itself and isn’t something we can change.) However, it should appear in other places, such as next to your blog’s title in the tab at the top of the browser window.

  Also it does no longer say http://www.gekkiggeitje.nl, but it suddenly changed to gekkiggeitje.nl.

  Your domain, http://www.gekkiggeitje.nl, will always be redirected to gekkiggeitje.nl, so you and your site’s visitors can use either address to reach your site. (Redirecting the first version of your URL to the second version helps to ensure that search engines index your site properly.)

  Because of this, facebook doesn’t display my new published articles right anymore.
