The new button to FOLLOW is not working !!

  DON’T show number of followers —> ?????

  If you are referring to the “follow” button on the Admin bar – it’s not meant to show the number of followers. If you are referring to the follow button on the bottom right corner of the front page of your blog then it likewise is not meant to display the number of followers. If you are referring to the follow blog widget you can click it and open it and find the setting to display them inside it and then click “save” and “close”.

  Aside:
  If your blog is a professional and/or business blog, I wouldn’t recommend activating that display whether or not you have blogged for years or have just started. Here’s my thinking. I have blogged for 6 years and have many followers so I wouldn’t want to look like a braggart by displaying the follower count. It might make new people think I wouldn’t value their “follow” when in fact I would. If I were just starting to blog I wouldn’t display the number of my followers less some people think that low numbers meant my content quality was poor.
