The new Dashboard Specifically the Picture Editor

The new Dashboard Specifically the Picture Editor – To be blunt, I do not like it. Please bring back the other picture editor that allowed me to increase the size of a photo by 100% or less and then go into advance editing and change the pixel size.
I never understood this other stuff and was so glad the pic editor was different. Now it is back to what I do not understand. It was so much easier to increase or decrease the size of a picture by %. The other is a pain.
I think when these changes are made, we should be able to opt out and keep the older or original version. This new editor for pictures is horrible and difficult that older one you replaced was extremely easy and easy to explain to someone else–like a beginner to WordPress and blogging.
It is no wonder there have been so much talk of WordPress nt being better than Blogger, which I thought it always was, but now I am wondering. Please return the photo editor.

And the pop-up test that could appear when a mouse floated over the picture. Now it is below a picture and makes the soze different and not as cohesive with the text of the content. Who thought of these things and who approved them.

Thanks for the feedback.
We do recognize that there are concerns about our changes to the way WordPress handles image editing. While we’re not going to go backwards in time, we do take constructive feedback seriously and will consider your ideas in future iterations.
We have a second thread about these issues into which one of the main developers for the image editor changes has already posted:

Already we have made a few changes and fixed a few things thanks to the feedback there.
If you have constructive feedback about new or missing features, or if you encounter any bugs, please post in that thread so we can keep the conversation all in one place.
