The new editor is terrible

They should add into the options the ability to default to the classic post editor. The new one is user-unfriendly. The editing box does not size right. Expanding all the tabs is a hassle. What were they thinking?

Hi christopherfisher,
To use the classic editor when you edit posts, please go the Posts -> All Posts menu, hover over the post title and click the Edit link.
I hope this helps! -
There are several workarounds discussed in the thread here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-reinstate-the-option-of-choice-to-use-the-old-publishing-format?replies=942

@christopherfisher – Staff have informed us that the link to the Classic Editor will not return to the New Post Editor. You can see more updates about the New Editor here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-reinstate-the-option-of-choice-to-use-the-old-publishing-format/page/32?replies=942#post-2338964 I do not know whether Staff are continuing to update that closed post with any new information.
As anissajen mentioned, you can get to the Classic Editor directly in your own site’s Dashboard>Posts>Add New or hover over the title of the post you wish to Edit in Dashboard>Posts>All Posts and you will see the Edit link appear.

I cannot use the new dashboard! Thanks for the workarounds above. I’ll give them a try. I have been struggling over a post for the last 3 days. I run my business from my wordpress. Please change it back!
