The new Jetpack social features..
-
Can someone explain why I had to find out via the help articles for jetpack social feature are paid features. With most of the new features are only for the Business and Commerce plans.
Why not state that on the blog post for it. For us premium and lower tier plans, there’s no changes for it. Which is disappointing.

It’s completely understandable why that’s frustrating; it feels like a bit of a “bait and switch” when an exciting announcement doesn’t clearly mark which tiers get the new tools. Often, these high-level blog posts focus on the “what” and the “how-to” rather than the pricing table, which can lead to that disappointing moment of discovery once you’re already in the dashboard. For those on Premium or lower plans, it often feels like the feature set has plateaued while the higher tiers get all the innovation. If you want to make your voice heard, it’s worth leaving a comment directly on that blog post or in the “Ideas” section of the forums—the product teams do track where users feel the value gap is widening between the plans.

Hi @jkund17
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! The Jetpack Social feature is available on all paid plans, but the new features highlighted in the blog post are only available on the Business and Commerce plans. I understand how discovering this through help articles rather than upfront in the blog post can be disappointing.
I’ve passed your feedback along to our team to improve transparency in future posts, so users can have a clearer understanding of plan-specific features from the start.
We’re genuinely sorry for any frustration this caused, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know. If you have any questions or need a hand with your site, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to help!
