……..is driving me insane!
Why doesn’t it publish immediately?
Why are all my categories no longer displayed and those that are are no longer in subsets? The list stops at c and will not scroll down. It takes ages to do the simple job now.
Is there a way to schedule a post for next week? I may be missing something.Please, please ease my pain!

Why doesn’t it publish immediately?
Do you have the option for “Publish Immediately” selected in the top left-hand box as shown here?
That seems to be working for me on a test blog. Have you had trouble with the post not publishing? If so, can you clarify what is happening when you click Publish? Is the post scheduled for a later date?

When you click on the category box, the categories should appear in a drop-down list as shown here:
Additionally, when you type, the box should automatically sort and filter categories based on what you’re typing.
The list stops at c and will not scroll down
Correct – it will only display 20 categories/tags at once in order from A-Z.
Is there a way to schedule a post for next week?
Yep! Under Change Status, you can schedule a post for the future as shown here:
