  I need help! I just installed the latest version of WP and I created a post. but it won’t let me edit, spell check or fix grammatical errors. Once I enter the spelling and grammar mode it just locks up and if I try to make the corrections it suggests, it just boots me to a blank screen and won’t let me back in unless I close WP and go to task manager and end the two (yes two) processes that are still executing. Any suggestions on a fix will be greatly appreciated.

  It sounds like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress site, so you’ll want to check with your website hosting company or the self-hosted support forums.

  Unfortunately it is hosted by WP. Any Ideas?

  I’m sorry. Yes, your site is hosted by WordPress.com. My mistake!

  When you say you installed the latest version of WordPress, are you referring to the desktop application? (https://apps.wordpress.com/desktop/)

  If so, please let us know what operating system you are using and we’ll see what we can do.
