the number in the facebook button like/share is modified; is that possible

  Dear support team
  I just realised that in various posts that I’ve published the number of like/share in facebook button and twitter is either disappeared or reduced comparing to the correct number. Could you please help me on this

  I just discovered the same thing on both the facebook and twitter buttons some of the stats have suddenly dropped and considerably so. This is the first time I’ve noticed this happen. Please can you explain why it has happened at all? And is it reversible?

  I have the same problem. The number of facebook shares were suddenly reduced. Can this be repaired?

  Now my stats appear to have bounced back to original values again. Can anyone explain why this has happened?

  A similar problem was encountered by WP.com users a while ago with post likes. I don’t think staff will be able to assist as it might be a third party error but I’ll tag this for staff attention to see what they can do.

  could you please tell me why that happns and why does it happen so often??
