The number of social media shares
-
Until today, each blog showed the number of FB, Twitter, and Google+ shares on each of the buttons at the bottom of each of my blog postings. In other words, every time a blog of mine was shared to one of the social media websites, it would be counted on that particular button for all to see. For some reason that feature has been deleted. How did I get it back?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It appears thought that the FB button changed from sharing to ‘like’… How do I get that button to function like the Twitter and Google+ buttons that are actually sharing the blog instead of just ‘liking’ it?

Hi there,
We removed the count from the Share button as the Like button is being heavily recommended by Facebook for use going forward. However, if you would still like to create your own Facebook Share button, you can do so through these steps:
1) Go to Settings > Sharing in your Dashboard
2) You will see “Available Services”. Click “Add a new service”
3) Please type this in to the respective fields:
Service Name: Facebook
Sharing URL: http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=%post_url%
Icon URL: http://cdn1.iconfinder.net/data/icons/Classy_Social_Media_Icons/16/facebook.png4) Click “Create Share”
5) Drag your Facebook SHARE button to the “Enabled Services” module.
Then you should be set! It will look like this:
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

In changing it from a Share button to a Like button, what is actually being ‘liked’? Is it my FB page for my blog? I don’t understand.
