I have the same problem as formerheathen.wordpress.com the number of views keep jumping up and down with no reason. In 18 and 19 of october I noticed two big movements that I didn’t understand, but I left to see what was going on and now I see the number of views are not relieble. Please fix the problem fr mgiorgi06.wordpress.com

Hi there,
I just wanted to repeat the information Jerry sent you via email, so @maurogiorgi01 and others can see it as well:
Our stats are not “real time” and take several hours to update, even when they are functioning normally. For this reason the number can change as stats tries to work out your visitor counts, but should stabilize within 24hrs.
I know it can be disconcerting to see changes like that (especially if it drops a bit), but that’s related to how we crunch the numbers on our end. We experienced some delays with that number-crunching recently, which may have contributed to what you saw there, but we’ve sorted that out now.

The stats are dropping by THIRTY visits; that’s a lot. I watch my stats very closely all day, and I’ve never seen that # drop by even ONE visit before, so this is something new; this is not normal functioning for your system.

Frankly, that’s not uncommon. Stats take hours to update and there are fluctuations both up and down.
