The pages on my blog take forever to appear.
-
I cannot edit my blog and the pages take for ever to appear. When I go to Admin and attempt to make changes, the page just spins…no access. How can I fix this? My router is working fine.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Continual spinning may indicate either a browser related issue or a connectivity issue. In order to help you we need to know your specific computing environment details. Please work through what follows and report back to Staff as I tagged this thread for their attention.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily. Know also that security and firewall programs and programs that run incognito mode may need to be temporarily disabled as well.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
6. If you are not successful let Staff know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/ -
Also exactly which blog are you referring to? Post the URL please because this one hasn’t had content published since 2007 https://dapaulson.wordpress.com/
We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.
Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Just in case you are confusing WordPress.COM hosted blogs with WordPress.ORG installs.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG and you are referring to a WordPress.ORG install click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Your site, dapaulson.wordpress.com, seems to be working fine. I don’t have any trouble loading it up or accessing its Dashboard.
Can you please try clearing out your browser’s cache?
If you are still having a problem, let me know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once I get more feedback.
