The paste function with my mouse does not work

When I copy something with my mouse to transfer to the post I am writing, the paste function doe not work. The word “paste” never become live, and won’t work.

Does this only happen on your blog? Does it work when you use the mouse to copy and paste anywhere else?

Even weirder than that. It will copy and paste a url to the address line just fine, but a paragraph of copy— no. I can use control-v. Seems to be just on my website.
