The PayPal Horror
-
PLEASE
let me pay for my custom design manually.
I will pay. But PLEASE don’t make me get a credit card.
I searched the web, I read in forums, and it seems many people have the same issues, and some of them seemed to get help from you.
I will gladly transfer the money manually, if you would give me an adress.
Sincerely,

We can accept payment via Paypal, Credit Card, or Bitcoin. I’m afraid that those are our only payment options.
-
@rootjosh-Is paying by debit card (from Visa and Mastercard) no longer an option? If it is still an option, couldn’t someone could pay cash for one and then use it to buy their upgrade?
-
My Visa debit card had money taken out of it yesterday for domain mapping – as long as they are not in a country that has a fraud alert on it – they should be able to get a debit card from their bank for Visa etc
-
You can also buy a prepaid credit card at a drug store or gas station that has no identification on it.
-
Still has to be backed by Visa or Mastercard, if I recall previous forum discussions correctly.

Hi and thanks for your answers.
@root
I’m sorry, I was so mad, I forgot to explain my situation correctly.
Of course paypal is an option. An option I would gladly take, if they wouldn’t make me register a credit card to transfer the money I have in my account already.@raincoaster
In lack of help and support I did that. I’m currently waiting for the money to be transfered on my card, to have it activated.
Ridiculous, because I can THEN use the money in my paypal account, to pay.
I’m still thinking of opting out and staying at blogger, because next year this shit will go down the same way I reckon, which pisses me off already.
But thanks for your help.
And justjennifer too. -
You didn’t tell us you had a problem paying from Paypal. I have used Paypal to pay for upgrades here for seven years, during which I have never owned a credit card.

It should be, I have not heard any reason why it wouldn’t be.
I should remember to say “credit/debit” in my replies.

For clarification
This is how my paying options look like:
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a199/AliviaAman/1_zps8e738060.jpg
and here’s the paypal option – which I used.
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a199/AliviaAman/2_zpsf6a9fb68.jpg
Then, I logged in, choosing to pay with my paypal funds.
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a199/AliviaAman/3_zps0fcacd17.jpg
and was greeted with the message that I couldn’t pay unless I add a credit card.

I hope this clarifies my problem.
I know I didn’t say that in my first post, I was confused where the mail would go to. Sorry about that!@raincoaster
I don’t know where you’re from, but I think this problem is linked to the country I live in. -
If PayPal has a problem where you live they should give you a message to that effect – from a non-supported country or something like that
-
I think your best bet is going to be to contact Paypal and ask them why they won’t take your money. I understand your frustration, but those decisions are Paypal’s and we have no control over that.
-
I see that now.
Paypal won’t help in this matter, I found many other posts with people having the same issue and paypal didn’t react.
My prepaid card is now charged, I will try again.
Thanks! -
With just as so much like registering and saving a credit card I could pay with my paypal funds.
Complicated but manageble.
Thank’s for all your help, it’s very appreciated! -
