The person who was the administrator is no longer employed here and I need to take him off and take over the duties.

  Hi there,

  As a administrator yourself, you should be able to remove the user here and you should be able to edit your homepage here .

  If you have trouble removing the user, the reason you would have trouble is because the administrator you’re trying to remove is the owner of the account. If that is the case, the owner will need to transfer ownership of the blog over to another admin, which will automatically remove them as a user of the site. Do you still have contact with the former admin?
