The photo that is displayed when I embed my url/link

  Hi there

  I need some help with my wordpress, I want to have a specific photo that shows up when I put my link to facebook or any other social media. Because right now the photo that comes up is not what I like..

  For example..I place my url into someone wall or my status and then usually it will show a photo then a brief discription of me, right? well I want to put a pic that I want how do i do so?

  Please help … It would be much appreciated :)
