The photos loses visual quality when appearing on the website?

  When i look at my photos on my pc screen (after ‘saving for web’ etc.) And I observe exact the same photos (same size) on my website, there is a clear loos of quality on the photo showen on the website. And I haven’t editet it at all after transferring it to Backend Library.
  Why ias it so?

  I have same problem using the system to load all the pics. If I open a photo it gets clear. Is there a width the photo should be if I use the multi-pic loader? I use single column format
