Hello,
Here are some feedback for The Plane Theme – Automattic Theme.
1. I would like to see more countdown options/timers. As well as wordpress.com additional widgets.
2. Please add a Back To Top Arrow / Button, makes the website more interactive and allows users to get back to the top quickly.
3. At least 1 slider/ 1 functional header, that directs to 1 page.
*Would be nice for a fully functional slider/header.*4. More sidebar options and widgets.
5. Sectioned/Expandable areas. That you can create and customise.
6. Customisable Footer/Header.
7. Some pre-made buttons.
8. Different menus/drop down features.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I like the ideas, I use this theme and definitely would like some of the above features you’ve mentioned.

Hi,
I just thought I would mention that sometimes it’s easier (and fun) to browse more themes. With the preview option, you can stumble across something that you prefer, with the way you have your blog set up presently.Others are sometimes not aware that you can browse for them via your most important feature ‘needs’.. like at this link, click for ‘More’, and you can search via different options like ‘featured image’ or ‘magazine style’ as what you’re describing I can imagine with a few of the magazine styles..
1: As far as I’m aware, you can use as many countdown (milestone) widgets as you like.
2: Have you considered inserting a ‘read more’ with your posts, so that the ‘whole post’ can’t be viewed on your home page? You can also change from an ‘infinity scroll’ type with most themes, and have it only scroll back as far as 2 or 5 posts; at Dashboard > Settings > Reading and enter the number of posts you’d like to be seen on your home page.
Just a few ideas, as I’ve played around with quite a few themes, that seem to do much of what you’re suggesting for ‘plane’.
