  How do I prevent readers from editing the blog material once they log on to my blog or the blog’s topic title?

  Unless you make those readers editors, they cannot edit your blog.

  I assume you are talking about inviting guest authors? If so read user roles. You probably want to add them as authors, but if you want to review anything they write before they publish it then contributors would be better.

  people who register themselves to follow your blog cannot edit the blog in any way.
