The previous post/next post links are not working properly

I just noticed this today, when I posted my most recent blog entry. When I go to the previous day, it doesn’t display today’s blog as the next one.
It should show this.
But instead, there’s an error if you go here.
There is a 407th day, but it acts as if that page does not exist. The link to that page is not even displayed, but you can still go to it.
You can even go to the previous entry, but you can’t go forward to the current one.
Can you fix this problem? Is there a solution? It might be an error in the code. Please try to resolve this, as I have never had any problems with this in the past.

Hi there,
I just checked your blog, and I was able to use the links to go to the previous and next blog posts (starting from your most recent post, going back to the post on August 16, and returning to the most recent one).
If you’re still having trouble with this, can you please make a screenshot of what you see? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.
That will help me see the issue that you’re seeing on your end. Thanks!

Okay. More recently, it has been happening with new entries. Usually when I just publish a new entry, I am able to see the next link to that entry from the previous entry right away. For today’s, I will let you know if it happens again. If it does, I will take a screenshot and show you.

I just published a new entry, and this print screen is from today.
This is an image of yesterday’s entry (Day 408). However, as you see in the image, there is no link to today’s entry (Day 409) from yesterday’s. I usually refresh the page and the new link appears, but it’s not appearing. Usually, I can get this to work right away. For some reason, however, it stopped working.
But if you go back another day, it works.
It just doesn’t work with the most recent entry for some reason. Is there some error in the code?
Anyway, please look into this. Although it’s a minor inconvenience, it’s still annoying. Please let me know if you can fix it. Thank you.

Thanks for those screenshots. Usually, this happens because your browser is saving the old version of that post, from before you published the most recent one. You may need to clear your browser’s cache if refreshing it doesn’t work.
Can you let me know if clearing your browser’s cache fixes it for you?

It works right now, but to be sure I will try again tomorrow, when I post another new entry. If it doesn’t display the next day again, I will clear the cache again and see if it works. Thanks for the advice.

I just posted my new entry. The new link to today’s entry was there immediately after I clicked the link to yesterday’s entry. Clearing the cache yesterday worked. Clearing it again is not necessary. Thank you very much for the help.

I clicked the link to day 411. The link to day 412 won’t appear. Is there a coding expert in the house?

Hi there,
If you check that older post immediately after publishing the new one, it’s possible that you’re seeing a version of the older post that’s also cached on our end. However, that cache should be refreshed so that the link appears after a short wait. Could you let me know how long after you publish the new post you continue to have trouble with the missing link? (So far it’s always there by the time I check, but it’d help to know how long the issue is persisting for you.)

I’ll check after an hour. I typically check it right after I post the entry. If a day passes, there’s no issue there. On the same day, however, that’s where the issue is.
