  I have a self-hosted blog connected to a wordpress.com-account to be able to use the stats-plugin. When I registered the wp-account I used my personal email, but later changed to the blog-email.
  Now I want to make a new separate wp-account to use for a private blog. The problem is that when I try to register with my private email-address it tells me that the address is already taken, even though I have changed and confirmed the first accounts email address.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It looks like you tried to change your email address from a personal address to a business address, but never confirmed the email change in your business email account, so our system still lists your original personal address as associated with your WordPress.com account.

  Please try updating your email address again and check your new email account for the confirmation link.
