The read more tag

  I am trying to add it to most of my posts as I get obviously more likes than views, some days 2-3 xs more.

  I went back to my most recent post and it was a picture with 6 lines below it. I inserted the read more tag and I checked in a browser where I am not logged in and it showed one line and continue reading, which I am guessing that means it turns it into a view? Anyway besides that I went to the posts just before it and did the same thing and hit update and it did not work.

  Realizing the issue was that I should clear history again in that post and it would work on the other posts and it did with the other two.

  Now I’m unsure of why as I had not opened my blog in that browser today and I am curious as to why that would happen if that browser did not see those posts as they are new.

  So, I am curious if that means that a follower will not get the continue button message if they do not clear their history? I also had someone suggest adjusting the reading section and switch it to summary but that did nothing. I thought that was the answer at first. What does that section do? Does it matter if I keep it as is or not? I am using the Dusk to Dawn theme. Thank you.
