The Reader banner

When I look at what is supposed to be on the Reader banner – on your help pages is ‘My Blogs’ which is a great link to the dashboard for my blog… however I don’t show ‘My Blogs’ nor do I see ‘Freshly Pressed’ on that top banner. Help!

I’m not sure what banner you’re talking about, perhaps the toolbar? In any case, let’s step back so I can try to figure out your end goal. What are you trying to do exactly?
If you want to read Freshly Presses posts, you should be able to see them at https://wordpress.com/fresh/ or get to that location by clicking on “Freshly Pressed” in the left menu at https://wordpress.com/
If you want to view the ‘My Blogs’ section to manage settings for the blogs you own, go to the WP Admin pages inside your blog and then go to Dashboard > My Blogs.

I guess what I am trying to do is go from the Reader page to my Dashboard with one click – right now I have to go to the My Site tab – the go down and click on WP Admin to get to my dashboard. There is no “My Blogs” tab at the top as is shown on all the help pages.

There is not really a way to go from the Reader directly to WP Admin. But step back even more, why are you wanting to go from the Reader to WP Admin? Can you try describing your workflow in a few steps perhaps?
