The red dropdown menus are very wide and submenus open outside the browser

    Reddle – chrome browser, XP
I was looking at someone else’s wordpress site today http://folkandroots.co.uk/
and I thought his links pages were broken.
Turned out that the submenus were opening so far to the right that I couldn’t see them.
The main body resizes as you narrow the browser, leaving a border down each side but the submenus do not.
Take a look at his ‘venues’ in anything other than a very wide (or extremely narrow) window.
(they are currently in his 6th tab, I’m going to suggest he moves it to the 2nd)

Could they be made to open L/R depending where there is screen?

  • Sub-sub menus on smaller desktop screens can be an issue in many themes. Reddle has been out for quite a while so changing its submenu flyout direction isn’t something we’d be able to do at this stage, since it would affect all Reddle users who may not want their menu directions changed.

(they are currently in his 6th tab, I’m going to suggest he moves it to the 2nd)

    This is a good workaround.

If this Reddle user does decide they would like to flip the direction of their sub-submenus and need help with it, you can ask them to post in the Reddle forum over at WordPress.org, as these ones are for folks hosted on WordPress.com:

    https://wordpress.org/support/theme/reddle

They’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
