The right plan is not the $96 plan – help me out here – is there a human there?

Is there a human who can explain my options for a SIMPLE WEB PAGE for a non-profit church group? Free sounds great…we get very little traffic, and 100% of it is from emails we send.

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We have not pulled the trigger on changing to WordPress, so the link above will not work. We want a single page, no social stuff, no email, no marketing, only (only) a simple web page. That all. Why is that a “premium” page? Why not a $4 plan…I’m the only one who volunteers! It is personal.

  • Hey there, welcome to our community. It sounds like your site may well be suited to the personal or free plan, sure. Premium adds more features, but you might not need them.

Personal ($48/year) would allow a custom domain and get rid of ads, and you’d have DNS for your email. You can also accept payments, have subscriber-only content, and even set up a newsletter if you want to.

Free would also work, but that does have ads, less storage space, community-only support, and typically a .wordpress.com-based address like the one above. You can forward a domain to that. Let us know if you have any questions on the differences!
