  Hi
  I’m looking for a theme that will show on the first page of each category, a brief description of all the posts.
  Can anybody help me ?

  The way posts are displayed on Categories pages and Archives pages is determined by the template. We cannot edit templates. Consequently, you will need to select a theme that provides a Category page display that meets your needs.
