the same URLS

    A owner of a site, told me that we have the same name as URL. is that illegal?but mine is for example”something.wordpress” and the other is like “www.something.com”. He said that he has this name exclusive! Is that a problem?
    Now i changed the URL.

    It all depends on the site names. Could you give me the URLs and I can look into this further for you?

    URLs are not exclusive. Presenting yourself as if you ARE another company is illegal. For instance, if your site was nikeshoes.com and you acted as if you were a representative of Nike, that wouldn’t be acceptable,
