The security offered through a Premium plan – site data and payment processing

Hey guys,
Just wondering what kind of security I get with a premium plan with a custom domain – any HTTPS? The payments processed through the Paypal button is wholly secured by them, right? Wouldn’t want my students to have any issues when paying.

I believe that security is one of the important things (if not – the most important one) that WordPress.com is taking care of.
The SSL is available on all plans, and, of course, on Premium Plan, too:

Yes, we encrypt all possible traffic, including custom domains hosted on WordPress.com and we also 301 redirect all insecure HTTP requests to the secure HTTPS version on WordPress.com.
