The SHORTCODE [display-posts orderby="title"] shows no result

    Hello,
    The SHORTCODE [display-posts orderby="title"] on my page shows no result
    i have used the shortcode in the ‘recent postings’ page of my bilingual blog at http://www.puronokolkata.com. Will you please look into it and advise?

    Hi Asok,

    When you use a page as the posts page on your blog, the contents of that page (including shortcodes like the Display Posts Shortcode) won’t be displayed. Instead, your latest blog posts will be displayed there in chronological order.

    If you prefer to use the shortcode instead of having your latest posts generated for you automatically, you can de-select that page from the dropdown menu next to “Posts page” under Settings > Reading in your dashboard. That way the contents of the page will be displayed.
