The site can’t be reached

  I can preview my site, but as soon as I press ‘visit site’ it takes forever to load and then comes to a page saying ‘this site can’t be reached’ because of the internet connection – but my connection is fine. When I try it on safari it says it can’t open because the domain isn’t verified, when it is. Slightly stressing, someone please help.
