The site is being prepared. This is a question about the cache plug-in redundanc

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi! I am using WP-Optimized and Jetpack Boost. (css, js, html, images)
It seems that the two plugins have overlapping functions.
    I’m worried.
    Ask about optimal alternatives.

    1. When using both plugins, what are the redundant functions that must be discontinued in one plugin?
    2. If only one plugin would satisfy your needs, which plugin would you prioritize?
    3. Can you recommend a compatible cache plugin?

    help!

  • Hey there,

Happy to help you with this.

It looks like you’re trying to speed up your site – is this correct? If yes, can you provide more information as to what has led you to worry about this?

Generally speaking, you wouldn’t need to use a caching plugin on WordPress.com, as we have our caching, and also, Jetpack’s CDN is also in use.

Over-caching can often lead to more problems than it solves.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Additional question.
There are two plug-ins: Jetpack and Jetpack Booster.
So, regarding the caching function, can I interpret this to mean that there are no difficulties with the caching function even if you do not use the Jetpeg and Jetpeg Booster plugins?

  • For WordPress.com-hosted sites, Jetpack is already installed, and the speed boost is already enabled.

If you want to speed boost a site not hosted here, you can install either plugin. The difference between the two is that Jetpack comes with many more features, whereas Jetpack Boost focuses only on speed optimization.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and I’ll be happy to help.
