The site listed above is not supposed to have replaced my original site

My original site is: The World According To A Crazy Old Bat With Attitude Up the Yin Yang—not the one listed above. I fear I have committed a act that goes against WordPress rules by posting a few of my Blogger pages on my site. I didn’t mean any harm–I wasn’t trying to create more sites when I am using a free one–just add some links. My original site is still there—but is read only and I can’t access it–just the Nineties one, which I don’t want. I apologise for this obvious infringement on the TOS. I had linked several Blogger posts, not really giving credence to the one I have been diligently working on for nearly a year. Is there any way to get my site working again, As I said, it is still there, but I can’t work on it anymore.

    Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @myprivatepain, did you get my message yesterday? Is this your site?

    https://acrazyoldbatwithanattitude.wordpress.com/

You haven’t done anything wrong that I can see. You only need to log out and log back into your other account. Try commenting on a post, and watching for the email that goes to, then log out and log back in with that address. If you’ve having trouble, here’s how to regain access.

Thank you so much for your advice. It worked and I have my old site back. Not sure what happened, but I’m glad it’s resolvable. BTW I couldn’t relocate your message yesterday—must have been a computer glitch. I appreciate you taking time to resend it.

Yes it did help a lot. I don’t know whose account I wandered into, but there was no content in it. Thanks to all of you for your speedy and thoughtful assistance in this matter.

You can’t just wander into someone else’s wordpress.com account. It seems you have 2 wordpress.com account: myprivateinsanityismine (created on Mar 4, 2020) and myprivatepain (created on Dec 17, 2013). Both accounts are yours as both have the same photo.

I must have started that site before my current one and I remember trying to delete it, because I don’t have a paid account and am only allowed to have one site. I was afraid that if I deleted the empty page, then everything would disappear. I really should get rid of it—-it’s useless.

You can close your unused site and account myprivatepain, but be sure you close the right account – https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/

Thank you. I’ll be very careful.
